A unique salt experience
It all began over 170 years ago: The history of the Solbad began with the discovery of salt deposits in the Rheinfelden area. The brine extracted there led to an upswing in Rheinfelden and ultimately paved the way for the town's development as a spa town.
From the depths of the earth.
The natural or primal brine, one of the strongest in Europe, is extracted from a depth of around 200 meters in the Rheinfelden-Riburg salt works and piped directly to the sole uno wellness world. There, it is mixed with Rheinfelden's drinking water, which is rich in calcium and magnesium, and heated to between 33 and 36 °C. The brine then develops its beneficial effects on the body and mind. In this way, it unfolds the effects known for well-being and healing.
Rheinfelder Natursole® is an officially protected brand name and should not be confused with ordinary saline solution or artificial salt baths.
